The attention of the all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational Officers in the state is invited to the subject cited and they are directed to instruct all the Private Management Institutions under their control for not conducting the Talent test/Screening test/ Admission Test/Scholarship Test etc., for admission to any class from Pre-primary in any school under any management or any syllabus (State syllabus/CBSE/ICSE/any other) as the same is dispensed with and against the spirit of Section 13 of Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 and Andhra Pradesh Educational Rules.
They are further informed that any deviations in this regard are punishable under the Section 13(2)(b) of the RTE Act with fine, which may extend to Rs 25,000/- for the first contravention and Rs. 50,000/- for each subsequent contravening admission. Government can also take further action as per provisions of relevant acts/ rules, including cancellation of permission / recognition of the schools.
As such, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational Officers in the state are directed to bring the same to the notice of the Private Management Institutions under their control with proper acknowledgement.
