2022-23 విద్యాసంవత్సరమునకు గానూ జరగనున్న జాతీయ ఉపకార వేతన పరీక్ష (NMMS) ది. 05-02-2023 (ఆదివారం) ఉదయం 10:00 గంటల నుండి మద్యాహ్నం 1:00 గం. వరకు జరుగును. ఈ పరీక్షకు హాజరవుతున్న విద్యార్థిని విద్యార్థుల యొక్క హాల్ టికెట్లను ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకుల కార్యాలయపు వెబ్సైట్ www.bse.ap.gov.in నందు స్కూల్ లాగిన్ లో అందుబాటులో ఉంచడమైనది. కావున సంబంధిత ఉపాధ్యాయులు పాఠశాల U- DISE కోడ్ ను ఉపయోగించి లాగిన్ అయి తమ పాఠశాలకు సంబంధించిన విద్యార్థుల యొక్క హాల్ టికెట్లను డౌన్లోడ్ చేసి విద్యార్థులకు అందజేయవలసినదిగా ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకులు శ్రీ డి దేవానంద రెడ్డి గారు తెలియజేశారు. – ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల కార్యాలయం

II. ABOUT NMMS SCHEME
- The Ministry for Human Resource Development, Government of India has launched centrally sponsored National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS). Under this scheme an examination will be conducted and selected candidates will get the scholarship.
- Every year 1,00,000 students will be selected throughout India. Out of which 4087 scholarships are being allotted to Residuary Andhra Pradesh and have been distributed among the districts basing on enrollment in VII & VIII Classes and Child population for each academic year.
- The Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada is conducting NMMS examination from August 2008.
- This examination is conducted every year in the month of November for the students who are studying VIII class in Government / Local Body / Municipal / Aided Schools / Model Schools (without Residential Facility).
The Examination is scheduled to be conducted on 05-02-2023. - The beneficiaries are being selected basing on the merit and as per the reservation norms followed by the state.
Syllabus: 7th class entire syllabus & 8th class syllabus up to end of October month 2022

III. PATTERN OF EXAMINATION
| MAT | • 90 Multiple Choice Questions. • 90 Marks & Each question carries one mark. • No negative marking |
| SAT | • 90 Multiple Choice Questions • 90 Marks Covering social science, science and mathematics of class VII & VIII. Each question carries one mark • No negative marking. |
| Duration for both MAT and SAT is 180 Minutes |

IV. QUALIFYING PERCENTAGE:
- 1) GEN, BC & PH : 40% (36 MARKS)
- NOTE:The student must Qualify both the tests i.e., Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) with at least 40% marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests.
2) SC & ST : 32% (29 MARKS)
V. SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT:
- The awardee shall receive a sum of Rs. 12,000/- per annum for which the awardee shall have to open a joint Bank Account with their parents in any S.B.I or in any Nationalized Bank which has core banking facility/ESC facility.
- Every Selected student should Register and submit his/her application on National Scholarship Portal i.e., www.scholarships.gov.in. After submission of application, concerned Institute Nodal Officer should Verify the application through INO Login and the same should be verified by concerned District Nodal Officer through DNO Login. Otherwise student will not get the scholarship forever.
- The Ministry of Education, New Delhi will sanction the scholarship and send such list to the SBI, New Delhi for disbursement of scholarship to the awardees through AADHAAR Payment Bridge.
VI. G.O:
- The Govt vide G.O Rt No.713 dated 25/09/2008, permitted the Director of Government Examinations to collect Rs.100/- for O.C/B.C and Rs. 50/- from S.C/S.T towards examination fee.
VII. PARENTAL INCOME:
- The candidate’s parental income should be below Rs. 3,50,000/- p.a from all the sources.
