Admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University: B.A., B.Ed., B.Sc, and B.Ed. (Secondary) 2023-24
General Instructions:
1. The candidate’s admission shall be revoked and no reimbursement of any kind will be given if it is discovered at any point that the candidate has submitted fraudulent information or a fake document.
2. Only Srikakulam will have jurisdiction over any issues relating to the admissions made under this advertisement.
3. Until they are verified by the university, medical fitness, payment of all fees, completion of eligibility requirements, and certificate verification, all admissions will be considered provisional.
Rules of Reservation:
The Andhra Pradesh’s government’s stipulated reservation guidelines shall be adhered to for admission to the ITEP programme. Admisssion ti the B.Sc. B.Ed. and B.A. B.Ed. programmes of study will be determined by the NCET-2023 and qualifying requirements, with the reservation policy outlined below.
Seats Distribution: For B.A. B.Ed. & B.Sc. B.Ed. Programme.
In each category and course of study (described in the part that follows), 85% of the seats are set aside for Local Candidates from the Andhra University region’s districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, and West Godavari.
Admission Procedure:
i. The candidates must download the Admission Application Form from the university website, fill it out completely, and send it in person or by registered mail, speed post, or other means to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Srikakulam Etcherla-532410, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh by no later than November 13, 2023. The University will not be held accountable for any post-delay.
List of Copies of Certificates to be enclosed:
a) A certificate attained upon passing Grade 12 (or a comparable educational level, such as intermediate, pre-university, etc.) with at least 50% of the possible points overall, or an equivalent grade from an accredited board or university.
b) The test score card for the NTA-conducted National Common Entrance Test (NCET-2023).
c) Admit Card for the NTA-conducted National Common Entrance Test (NCET-2023)
d) SSC or Grade 10 Certificate for birthdate verification
e) If applicable, a community certificate from the appropriate authority for candidates in the ST, SC, BC, or EWS categories.
f) White Ration Card (G.O.M.S.No.186, Dt.26-05-2015) or the most recent valid income certificate issued by the M.R.O. or Tahsildar, if fee concession is requested (the income certificate’s validity is four years from the date of issue).
To claim the reservation under the local category, one must present the following documents:
g) Transfer Certificate
h) Study Certificates for the previous seven years or Residence Certificates for the seven years prior to the qualifying examination.
i) In addition to the aforementioned, candidates who choose to be admitted under the NCC, Sports, CAP, PH, or NSS quota must present the appropriate original certificate.
ii. The Admission Committee will review the applications in order of merit based on the candidates’ eligibility and the number of available seats (category-wise). This would be done using the National Common Entrance Test (NCET)-2023 scores.
iii. Should the scores from NCET-2023 tie, the applicant with the higher age shall be ranked higher than the one with the lower age. In the event that the tie breaking criterion is ineffective, superior scores in the NCET-2023 domain-specific topic will be taken into account.
iv. A merit list of the applicants will be posted on the Institute Website based on the NCET-2023 results.
v. Phase I: In accordance with the timetable, the list of applicants who have been provisionally selected based on the category-wise seats will be posted on the university website, www.brau.edu.in.
vi. In order to confirm their enrollment, the applicants who were provisionally selected during Phase I will need to submit their tuition fee online according to the specified timetable.
vii. Failure to pay the tuition fee will result in the automatic loss of the seat that has been reserved.
In any event, there won’t be another opportunity.
viii. Phase II: www.brau.edu.in, the university website, will list the available seats.
ix. The list of applicants who were provisionally selected will be shown against the open seats.
x. In order to confirm their admission, the applicants who were provisionally selected during Phase II will need to submit their university fee online according to the specified timetable.
xi. The tuition fee is non-refundable after it has been deposited.
xii. Students have limited access to hostel facilities.
xiii. The University has the right to cancel admissions at any time, and all admissions are strictly provisional.
