An IAS officer belongs to 1994 batch Mr. Praveen Prakash has always been creating sensation in whatever department he works in. It becomes clear when looking at his past history that no other person is equal to him in showing such an attitude.
It is sad that someone who should be exemplary as a senior IAS officer who has been showing his character more unnaturally since his appointment on 29.11.2022 as a Principal Secretary of Andhra Pradesh State Education Department. It is an open secret that there is a hidden agenda behind the appointment of Mr. Praveen Prakash, who is known for his sensationalism.
On December 9, 2022 the Hon’ble Principal Secretary (Education), Shri Praveen Prakash, has fixed to inspect the Government-run schools and hostels, implementation of the Government’s flagship programs and to assess the teaching standards in the schools.
He suggested the District Educational Officers in the state, that no special arrangements should be made for him when he come to visit their areas, but only simple accommodation, simple breakfast like idli or bread. By this kind of approach, I felt that as a senior IAS officer, Hon’ble Praveen Prakash has changed his attitude and wanted to become a role model for others throught in his re-entry in Andhra Pradesh after assuming his charge as a Resident Commissioner at AP Bhavan.
But during his visit, he used to abuses the teachers in front of the students, talk harshly with the supervising officers such as Mandal Educational Officers, Deputy Educational Officers, District Educational Officers and Regional Directors of School Education and insult their morale in public places.
