The Attention of all the Regional joint Directors of Schools Education and the District Educational Officers is invited to the references read above, wherein the joint Secretary to Government, School Education, AP has informed that the Secretary, Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, Government of India, New Delhi-110001 has instructed to conduct Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2022 i.e birth anniversary of sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
Further, informed that, the central ministry of Education in association with Ministry of Sports, Government of India will organize 7500 Unity Runs involving people from all sections of the society in 750 districts on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. It will help spread the message of national integration and the spirit of ” Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav” across the country. To achieve the target of 7500 unity runs, at least 100 unity runs will have to be organized in each district of the country.
Accordingly, to celebrate 31″ October 2022 as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with great enthusiasm and to organize various appropriate programs on the occasion including the following:
I. Oath taking ceremonies :

“ I solemnly pledge that I dedicate myself to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and also strive hard to spread this message among my fellow countrymen. I take this pledge in the spirit of unification of my country which was made possible by the vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. I also solemnly resolve to make. my own contribution to ensure internal security of my country.”
II. At least 100 Unity Runs in each district.
In view of the above, all the Reg ional joint Directors for School Education and District Educational Officers in the state are instructed to take appropriate action under their jurisdiction to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2022 with great enthusiasm.
